Is Jehovah’s Witness a true religion?

Beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses

Jehovah’s Witnesses identify as Christians, but their beliefs are different from other Christians in some ways. Most Jehovah’s Witnesses (83%) say their religion is the one true faith leading to eternal life; only about three-in-ten U.S. Christians (29%) believe this about their own religious faith.

Differences Between Christianity and Jehovah’s Witnesses

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that Jesus is God’s (Jehovah) son and completely separate from God; Jesus is also believed to be the archangel Michael. Christianity asserts that Jesus is the son of God but also God himself as avowed by the Holy Trinity.

Morality and Atheism

A new study suggests that, while atheists and theists share moral values related to protecting vulnerable individuals, atheists are less likely to endorse values that promote group cohesion and more inclined to judge the morality of actions based on their consequences. Can an atheist be a moral person? Humans can only have opinions about morality, and no one’s opinion is any more valid than anyone else’s.

Incarnation vs. Reincarnation

The difference between Incarnation and Reincarnation is that Incarnation is an act of God becoming flesh in Jesus Christ. Reincarnation is a belief that upon death, your soul will return to another body. Incarnation is when God is “born into flesh” or becomes human in the person of Jesus Christ.

Divine Figure in Christianity

Mary, mother of Jesus, born around 18 BC and died after around 30/33 AD, is recognized in Christianity as the mother of Jesus. She was married to Joseph and had Jesus as her child.
