How to Access 192.168.1.1 and Reset Password
Turn on your router and connect it to your computer with an Ethernet cable. Open your favorite web browser and type “http://192.168.1.1” into the address bar. Enter the correct router login/password combination.
TP-Link Default Login
TP-Link: Login to Router admin panel using its default IP Address – 192.168.0.1 / 192.168.1.1. Enter the default username and password (admin/admin in most cases). Navigate to Wireless > Wireless Security > WPA/WPA2 – Personal (Recommended) > Password. Enter your preferred password and Save the change.
Troubleshooting 192.168.1.1 Access
If you cannot reach the login page, it may be due to:
- A hardwired connection configuration issue (such as a bad Ethernet cable)
- Entering the IP address incorrectly
- An IP address issue on the computer.
How to Reset PLDT Wifi
To reset the PLDT router to its defaults, press the reset switch at the back of the router for about 10 seconds. Use a small pointed tool like a paper clip to depress the reset switch is accessible via a small hole at the back of the router. Wait for the router’s lights to turn off before releasing the switch.
Changing Wifi Network Name on Android

PLDT SSID Name
The default wifi names of PLDT routers are quite long. The wifi names or the Wireless LAN SSID names of PLDT routers use the word “PLDTHOMEFIBR”. It is then concatenated with the last 5 digits of the MAC address of the router. As an example, my PLDT router’s default wifi name (WLAN SSID name) is PLDTHOMEFIBR3b228.
