Rias and Issei Relationship
Rias In Volume 22, Rias was there to allow Issei to be promoted to High-Class devil, during the ritual in which she placed the crown on his head, which made Issei a King. Later the two become engaged when Issei proposes to Rias after her graduation ceremony, making her his first bride.
Issei’s Family
- Issei’s Familiars: Ryuuteimaru is the legendary ship Skíðblaðnir and the familiar of Issei Hyoudou, which was given to him by Surtr Second as a gift due to him fighting for the Underworld and Sirzechs Lucifer.
- Issei’s Children:
- Kurobara ( 黒茨 くろばら ): Daughter of Issei and Kuroka.
- Airi Hyoudou ( 兵藤 愛理 ひょうどう アイリ Hyōdō Airi): The second eldest of the siblings and the daughter of Issei and Asia Argento, she was born around the same year as Kurenai.
- Issei’s Oldest Child: Kurenai Himejima is the first-born child of Issei Hyoudou, making him the oldest sibling, if Ophis is discounted. His mother is Akeno Himejima, from whom he inherits a lot of his powers.
Issei’s Romantic Relationships
- Issei and Akeno: In a different world filled with peace and prosperity, Akeno Himejima and Issei Hyoudou never became servants of Rias Gremory. Instead, the two of them became high school lovers and eventually ended up getting married and having kids.
- Second Bride: After the events, Akeno has constantly been calling Issei "Darling" and started behaving like she is already his wife, meaning she accepted his proposal and she becomes Issei’s second bride.
High School DxD Media Endings
- Anime Ending: "Always, and Forever!" is the twelfth and final episode of the third season of the High School DxD anime.
- Manga Ending: As for the manga, it was discontinued from volume 11, and has no hopes of returning. The manga is also unfinished.
- Light Novel Ending: The original novel of High School DxD has indeed ended, with volume 25.
