Finally, after landing a job as a mechanic, Wally learns Mister Terrific owns the company. The hero fires him and offers him a truckload of money to help study the multiverse. In the end, Wally gets a fitting job and a big enough paycheck to keep his family afloat.
Wally West’s Origin Change
One of the characters who got rewritten was Wally West. His history was changed, so that his mother was black, and himself bi-racial, with his appearance reflecting his black ancestry. A DC comics fan since Jimmy Olson was an Ape and the Legion was in Adventure.
