As far as I know the oldest animated film is Princess Iron Fan (1941). This one: Tie shan gong zhu (1941) , correct me if I am wrong. Roughly calculating, if a ten years old watched and liked it and decided to be an anime fan,, that means he's born in 1931. That also means he is 87 now.
