## Requirements to be a Sponsor for an Immigrant
- You must be a United States citizen or a permanent resident.
- You must be at least 18 years old at the time of filing the Form I-130.
- You should have your domicile in the US or any of its territories.
- All sponsors must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, be at least 18 years old, and be living in the United States (including territories and possessions) when they file the affidavit of support.
## Withdrawal of Immigrant Sponsorship
- To withdraw the sponsorship, the sponsor must send a letter to the USCIS office, include a copy of their receipt notice, and inform the office of the decision to withdraw. This helps in tracing their file quickly.
## Income Requirement to Sponsor a Fiancé
- Stable earnings of at least $16,910 per year for a two-person household are required for a fiancé(e) visa petition.
- Stable earnings of at least $21,137 per year for a two-person household are required to qualify as a financial sponsor.
