Is there a way to transfer a playlist from my iPhone onto iTunes on my computer?
Thanks for the A2A.
The short answer is yes, and you have two main options:
- A third-party tool
- iCloud Music Library
Third-party tool
With a tool like SharePod ($19,99 - no affiliation), it’s possible to easily export a playlist from your iPhone into iTunes on your Mac or PC:
- Install and launch SharePod
- Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB
- Select the desired playlist
- Select “Export Selected Playlist to iTunes”
- Click on the green “GO” button
iCloud Music Library
If you’re an Apple Music subscriber, then you can activate iCloud Music Library on both your iPhone and iTunes on your computer.
Doing so will automatically sync your playlists across all your devices where iCloud Music Library is turned on.
On your iPhone:
- Open Settings > Music
- Toggle on iCloud Music Library
From iTunes:
- Launch iTunes
- Mac: Click on the “iTunes” menu
- PC: Click on the “Edit” menu
- Click on “Preferences”
- Click on the “General” tab
- Tick the “iCloud Music Library” option
Hope this helps!
