Do you have to pay for books on Kindle? If so, how?

Go to Amazon Best Sellers: Best Kindle eBooks

Make sure you clicked the “free” section of the best sellers. Without going to a particular genre, and there are 31 genre links on the left side of the page, you will see 100 best selling free books. Click a genre, my favorite is “Science Fiction/Fantasy” and you have 100 books to choose from, and two links choices, click one - let’s click “fantasy” and there are 23 sub-genre links to choose from:

We’re still in the free section. I like to look through the “Paranormal & Urban” section. There are 100 free titles to choose from.

Now why would authors put their books up for free? If they are writing a series the first book is often free and if people want to continue with the series they can pay the small cost to get the remaining books. If an author is trying out a new genre, letting the book out for free for a while gets people to try something new from a known author and if the readers like it they will look for more of that ilk.

Se ricevo un libro gratis che fa parte di una serie e mi piace la scrittura comprerò tutti gli altri libri ai loro prezzi regolari.

Se vedo uno dei miei autori preferiti uscire con un nuovo libro comprerò l'edizione kindle nuova di zecca a qualsiasi prezzo chiedano, perché amo i miei scrittori preferiti.

Tutti gli altri suggerimenti di usare la biblioteca pubblica, o di scaricare da posti online in formato pdf, ho provato e alla fine ho trovato che la sezione gratuita dei best seller di Amazon ha più possibilità di scelta, interfaccia facile, e di solito posso usare la funzione text to speech e ascoltare i libri senza comprare la copia audible.
