What are some options to stream Korean channels? Should I get a Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, or Apple TV? What are some of the Korean channels?

Roku has the following:

  • Dramafever
  • Viki
  • Arirang TV (English speaking Korean network).
  • Korean cooking app (you can search for a dish and they'll show videos they've pulled from all over the place - its quite interesting.
  • Korean Travel app. (I installed it, but haven't really watched it)
  • Crunchyroll has very few Korean shows worth watching.

AppleTV has an app called KorTV. Within KorTV there are both live network channels and VOD (Video On Demand). Some are paid and some are free. The paid is ala carte, so you only pay for the channels you want

Free Live Channels:

  • Arirang TV (better or Roku)
  • TV Chosun
  • YTN News
  • KBS News
  • and various other news and religious channels

Premium Channel

  • KBS World - $2.99/mo
  • JTBC - $1.99/mo
  • MBC All K-Pop - $1.99/mo
  • K-Star World - $1.99/mo
  • KTENpop - $1.99/mo
  • YTN World - $1.99/mo
  • KBS World Latino $2.99/mo
  • there's some more - news and sports

I'm not sure whether these subs, except for KBS

VOD:

  • KBS VOD - $3.99/mo
  • Encore VOD - $5.99/mo
  • Movies - $4.99

I don't know about Amazon, but I know the Kindle doesn't have Dramafever anymore.

Hope this helps
