Quali sono i migliori giochi esclusivi per PC?

Sopra la mia testa e includendo Mac e Linux come PC, il PC domina completamente alcuni generi che i giocatori della console vedono a malapena - e ottiene quasi tutto ciò che la XBox ottiene e un bel po' di cose che non ha nei generi che sono adatti al controllo del gamepad. Se si tratta di un RPG d'azione a grande budget, FPS, gioco di combattimento o gioco di corse, probabilmente o è stato su console o sarà su console con rare eccezioni. I generi che i giocatori di console non hanno molto e le esclusive PC preferite sono qui sotto:

La maggior parte dei giochi del genere Grand Strategy si basa su una tastiera e un mouse per gli input complessi, anche se XCom e Tooth & Tail sono arrivati su console.

• Civilization (VI, II, IV, o qualunque sia il vostro preferito)
• Total War (qualunque della serie)
• Endless (Space/Legend/Whatever)
• Europa Universalis
• E quasi tutti i giochi simili

Anche il genere RTS e la successiva suddivisione in MOBA e Tower Defence sono completamente dominati dal PC.

• Heroes of the Storm
• DOTA 2
• Dawn of War
• and many many more

It’s worth mentioning that I’ve just listed four of the five top paying esports in history according to esportsearnings in this category (and Star Craft:Brood War is still there in tenth).

About half the good MMORPGs out there are PC exclusive, although largely for historical reasons at this point I think.

Big building puzzles/problems/management also massively favour keyboard and mouse over thumbsticks

• Opus Magnum
• Factorio
• Planet Coaster
• Dwarf Fortress
• and more

Realistic flight simulators that require a lot of buttons because there are a lot of controls. (Note: This is not my genre at all)

• FSX
• Lockheed Martin Prepar3d
• X-Plane
• Flight Gear
• and more.

And then there are the plethora of Indy games (some of which I’ve mentioned) - in addition to a lot of classic games that were available on console, but to play on console now takes finding an old console.
