How to properly uninstall and reinstall Google Chrome

Before you uninstall any Browser, you should backup your FAVORITES AND Bookmarks!! Very important or YOU WILL LOSE YOUR hard work of saving great sites.

Open. Google Chrome. ...

Click ⋮. (3 dots) It's in the top-right corner of the window. ...

Select Bookmarks. This option is near the top of the drop-down menu. ...

Click Bookmark manager. It's in the pop-out window. ...

Open the Bookmarks menu. ...

Click Export bookmarks. ...

Enter a name. ...example.. My Bookmarks.

Select a save location… local Cdrive. Done.

Now.. to uninstall Chrome….

1. On your computer, close all Chrome windows and tabs.

2. Click the Start menu… Settings.

3. Click Apps.

4. Under "Apps & features," find and click Google Chrome.

5. Click Uninstall.

6. Confirm by clicking Uninstall.

To delete your profile information, like bookmarks and history, check "Also delete your browsing data."

Click Uninstall.

To install… I would download a Fresh new copy from Google site. ….

Just follow the prompts to Install Chrome.

To IMPORT your Saved Bookmarks..

On your computer, open Chrome.

At the top right, click More .

Select Bookmarks where you saved it…click Import and Export…. Bookmarks and Settings.

Select the file to import that contains the bookmarks

Click Import.

Click Done.
