Come inviare una sitemap al motore di ricerca Ask

Inviare sitemap a Google.

Il primo passo è quello di verificare il sito. Google non accetterà nessuna sitemap senza approvare il sito per cui è designata inizialmente.

1. Accedere a Google Webmaster Tools proprio come si accede ad altre funzioni di Google.
2. Premere "Aggiungi un sito" e fornire l'URL del sito di Google nella casella pop-up. Poi premere continua.
3. Nella pagina che si apre dopo, premere il pulsante radio subito dopo "Add Meta Tag."
4. Copiare il Meta tag dalla casella delle istruzioni. Lo useremo più tardi.
5. Aprire una nuova scheda nel browser e aprire il sito che si desidera verificare.
6. Premere "More Actions" e cliccare "Manage the Site" dalla lista.
7. Cliccare su General dalle schede che si trova proprio sotto la scheda Site Setting.
8. Now the Meta tag copied from the instructions box should be pasted in the place right next to Verification.
9. Save the changes.
10. Go to Webmaster Tools where the Meta tag was copied from.
11. Press Verify.

The second step is to submit the sitemap to the google.

1. Go to Webmaster Tools site.
2. Select the site of the sitemap.
3. Click Site Configuration-> Sitemaps.
4. Click Add/Test Sitemap which is located in top right corner.
5. In the box that pops up, paste the following code:
   /system/feeds/sitemap
6. Submit the sitemap.

The sitemap is now successfully submitted.

Submitting sitemaps to Yahoo.

1. Log in to the Yahoo account.
2. Navigate to Yahoo Site Explorer.
3. Add your website to the Yahoo by copy-pasting site’s URL and clicking Add My Site afterwards. Make sure to validate that the owner is you. Per inviare una mappa del sito, la convalida deve essere fatta prima, altrimenti la mappa del sito non sarà pubblicata.
4. Premi l'URL del tuo sito web e clicca sui link dei feed nelle colonne di destra.
5. Incolla l'URL della tua mappa del sito e lascia il drop down "Website Feed". Clicca poi su Aggiungi Feed.
6. Il team di Yahoo controllerà e convaliderà la mappa del sito e anche il sito. Inizierà l'indicizzazione del sito non appena determinerà che la mappa del sito è efficiente e senza errori.
