Ci sono molte alternative all'attuale catalogo di film di Netflix, e questa è una parte del problema.

Come il mercato dei contenuti in streaming cresce così fa la concorrenza. Quasi ogni grande studio che crea contenuti cinematografici o televisivi si sta precipitando nello spazio dello streaming in questo momento.

Mentre Netflix è stato uno dei primi ad adottare il modello di abbonamento allo streaming video (e ha offerto più contenuti all'inizio), il mercato è più diffuso ora. Questo significa che ci sono più scelte, ma ogni fornitore OTT (over-the-top) ha meno film e serie televisive da offrire perché i concorrenti si contendono i contenuti.

I might add that if you really want more movie selection then you can always join the Netflix DVD service.

The DVD and Blu-ray service on Netflix offers a huge selection of recent movies and television series... over 93,000 choices. But yes, you'll have to actually order a disk, physically touch it, and send it back.

You can also use other services for the same selection, like Redbox for example.

If you want one streaming service that has everything for a low monthly fee, it doesn't exist and it never will.

We're actually moving in the opposite direction. It's becoming more and more fragmented by the day.
