How to insert a square root symbol in Google Docs
There are three ways to insert a square root symbol and there are two types of square root symbols in google docs i.e. n th square root and simple square root
Here are the two methods
Method 1
- Open google docs
- Click the cursor where you want to insert the symbol
- Click "Insert" option and then click the “Equation “
- Click on “New Equation” and then click on “Math Operations “
- Click on Square root symbol or n th square root symbol
- Use forward arrow keys on your keyboard to enter “n” value and number or a letter under the square root symbol
Method 2
- Open google docs
- Click the cursor where you want to insert the symbol
- Click "Insert" option and then click the “Equation “
- Click on “New Equation”, you will see a blue box with the cursor blinking inside it
- Type “\sqrt “ and spacebar on your keyboard
- Enter the number under the symbol
Method 3
- Open google docs
- Click the cursor where you want to insert the symbol
- Then navigate to “Insert” option“
- Under Insert option Click on “Equation”
- Inside the blue box with the blinking cursor type “\sqrt “
- type number under the symbol
