How much cement is in 1 cubic meter of grade 30 concrete?

Concrete grades from M5 to M25 are standard.

Concrete grade M30 is mixed Design concrete.

After M25 grade, all these grades are designed by concrete designer and its depends upon properties of materials like aggregate, sand.

At my site for building construction M30 is being used.

Ratio of the ingredients are following for M30 concrete mix ( In Liter ) :-

CEMENT - 35 lt

CRUSH SAND - 60 lt

FLY ASH - 20.5 lt

AGGREGATE 1 (10mm) - 40 lt

AGGREGATE 2 (20mm)- 45 lt

ADMIXTURE = 300 ml

WATER - 25 lt

According to above, ratio will be :

Concrete Ratio = 1 : 1.71 : 2.42 : 0.59

(Cement : Sand : Aggregate : Flyash )

1.52/(1+1.71+2.42 + 0.59) = 0.265 m³

= 0.265/0.035

= 7.57~ 7.6bags

So in 1 m³, cement will be used = 7.6 bags (380kg)

NOTE : if we will use fly ash then cement will be consumed less.

EDIT :-

If fly ash won't be used then ratio will be :-

1: 1.71 : 2.42(Cement :Sand : Aggregate )

1.52/(1+1.71+2.42) = 0.296 m³

= 0.296/0.035

= 8.465 ~ 8.5 bags

So in 1 m³, cement will be used = 8.5 bags (425kg).

I hope it might help!

Thanx for A2A.
