Which type of refrigerants are best for air conditioners? R32, R410A, R22 or R290?

1. R22
   1. Single gas.

Benefits of R32

1. 30% less charging for same cooling capacity as compared to R22 and R410A
2. R32 has 160% better volumetric cooling capacity, hence lower volume of refrigerant is required for same capacity of machine.
3. R32 gives better performance at high ambient temperature compared to R410A
4. R32 gives 5% more power saving as compared to R410A
5. R32 gives 15.3% more cooling as compared to R410A with same power consumption.
6. Liquid density of R32 is 10% lower than R410A, So piping Diameter can be lowered.

Conclusion - R32 is the most balanced Refrigerant available currently.
