Look for the following capabilities in your TV:

• Google Cast
• Miracast
• DLNA
• Airplay
• Screen mirroring

If you cannot find anything in your TV’s specs about these terms, you may have an older model or just a model that doesn’t support casting.

You can look for a casting device that plugs into an HDMI port on your TV and enables casting through that input.

Search for these same terms online or at Amazon and you’ll find numerous devices that cost anywhere from $30 to $150 that will work for you. You may need to install software on your computer so it can communicate with the adapter you plug into the TV.
