Gmail è un client di posta?

Gmail è un servizio di posta elettronica gratuito di Google. Fornisce accesso alle caselle di posta tramite l'interfaccia web e tramite i protocolli POP3, SMTP e IMAP, così come nell'applicazione Gmail su Android e iOS.

Il programma di posta elettronica (email client, mail client, mailer) è un software installato sul computer di un utente per ricevere, scrivere, inviare e archiviare messaggi di posta elettronica da uno o più utenti (nel caso, per esempio, di più account su un computer) o più account dello stesso utente.
