Ryuk never actually cared about Light in any affectionate way; he couldn’t care less. He thought of Light as entertainment, dropping the death note on purpose.
L’s Actions
L gives Light a foot massage. It can be viewed in different ways, such as acknowledging Light as Kira or symbolically referencing Jesus washing Judas’s feet.

There is nothing in canon to suggest L was romantically involved with Light.

Near’s Resemblance to L
Ohba let Obata create Near’s character design to have a resemblance to L by keeping "the weirdness and the panda eyes."
