L Lawliet’s Real Name

His real name, L Lawliet, is only revealed in the guidebook Death Note 13: How to Read.

Gelus and Misa Amane

Gelus, a Shinigami, fell in love with Misa Amane and used his Death Note to kill the man who was destined to kill her. Gelus died as a result, leaving only his Death Note behind. The notebook was repossessed by Rem, who took it to the human world and gave it to Misa.

Light’s Decisions

Each subsequent deal will again half their remaining lifespan. The eye deal is first mentioned by Ryuk when he offers Light Yagami the trade so that he can get the name of the man following him. Light refuses, as he is unwilling to give up half his lifespan.

Light’s Transformation

Whenever Light thinks to himself while in Kira mode, his eyes glow red to give an evil context to the viewer. When he’s revealed to be Kira in the warehouse, he no longer has to hide from the group; he enters Kira mode and his eyes turn red as a result.

Ryuk and Shinigami Realm

He had expected Light might have thought of some way out of his situation, but seeing as he is desperate enough to go to Ryuk for help, Ryuk decides it is all over for him. Ryuk returns to the Shinigami Realm after killing Light.

Ryuk’s Nature

Shinigami Ryuk is a Shinigami bored with the activities (or lack thereof) of the Shinigami realm, so he decides to obtain a second Death Note and drop it in the human world for someone to find, hoping to relieve his boredom. He succeeds in tricking the Shinigami King out of a second Death Note.

Shinigami Power

The most powerful Shinigami is Kenpachi Zaraki, "Kenpachi" is the title that is only given to the strongest Shinigami, only Unohana and Zaraki are the only two true Kenpachi to officially have the title.

Nu – The Strongest Shinigami

Nu is the strongest and the most intelligent Shinigami in Death Note.
