Where can I find my router username and password?

Finding Wi-Fi Password for Router

  • Look for a sticker on the bottom of the router itself. Many routers, especially those from an internet service provider, have unique passwords. These passwords are often printed on a sticker on the router.
  • Try a common username and password combination.

Viewing Connected Devices on Wi-Fi Network

  • Open the Google Home app.
  • Tap Wi-Fi.
  • At the top, tap Devices.
  • Tap a specific device and a tab to find additional details.
  • Speed: Real-time usage is how much data your device is currently using.

Accessing and Logging into Modem

  • Open your internet browser and enter http://192.168.1.1. Use admin as your default username and 1234 for password.
  • Once you have opened the Wi-Fi modem User Interface, log in using the default username and password, which can be found at the back or under the modem.

Logging into Huawei Router

  • Open an Internet browser on your phone or computer.
  • Enter the default IP address in your browser’s address bar (check the nameplate on the router for the default IP address).
  • In the login window, enter the login password for your router and select Log In.

IP Address and Wi-Fi Connections

  • When you connect multiple devices on a Wi-Fi network, each has its own local IP address, which differs from the public IP address. Using Wi-Fi does not directly alter a network’s public IP, but you can use Wi-Fi to connect with a different IP address.

Checking IP Address on Android

  • Go to your phone’s settings.
  • Select “About device.”
  • Tap on “Status.” Here you can find information about your device, including the IP address.

About IP Address Usage

  • Someone can get your location and intrude on your privacy in real life.
  • Someone can use your IP to hack your device.
  • Someone can impersonate you to get hold of your IP address.
  • Employers can track your activity.
  • A hacker can hit you with a DDoS attack.
