Shinigami in "Bleach"
Ichigo has absurd amounts of reiatsu, but Aizen can floor opponents with his reiatsu alone. In fact, of all the war powers Yhwach considered, Aizen was picked solely due to his reiatsu.
The Shinigami King
The Shinigami King (死神大王, Shinigami Daiō), also known as the King of Death, is the ruler of all Shinigami in the Shinigami Realm. Ryuk once referred to him as "that old fart," implying that there are Shinigami who don’t like him all that much despite his high status.
Character Analysis: Ryuk
While Rem was much kinder to Misa than Ryuk was to Light, Ryuk was a better Shinigami and honored the code much more, despite still being a bit of an outlaw among Shinigami. Shinigami bored Ryuk is a Shinigami bored with the activities (or lack thereof) of the Shinigami realm, so he decides to obtain a second Death Note and drop it in the human world for someone to find, hoping to relieve his boredom. He succeeds in tricking the Shinigami King out of a second Death Note.

About Nu: Nu is the strongest and the most intelligent Shinigami in Death Note. She is considered to be the second most powerful Shinigami. Well, Nu is known for her intelligence and has more intellect as compared to other Shinigami.
Ichigo Kurosaki
Ichigo Kurosaki (黒崎 一護, Kurosaki Ichigo) is a Human who is also a Substitute Shinigami. He is also married to Orihime Inoue and has a son named Kazui Kurosaki.
Light vs. L in "Death Note"
No doubt both Light Yagami and L are very intelligent and at many points Light has outsmarted L. But this never means Light was more intelligent than L. Light could have never been able to outsmart L if he worked alone. But unlike the case, he had Ryuk and the ‘second Kira’ (Misa Amane) on his side.
Analysis of Characters in "Death Note"
But Light is also the protagonist, and therefore L is the antagonist. You could say that L is the villain because he is working actively against the protagonist. Near is the one who eventually beats Light, the protagonist, in the end, so you could say that he is the villain.
