Qual è più potente, il Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, l'Intel Core i5-8250U o l'Apple A12 Bionic?

Nell'angolo blu: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Un chipset Octa core che si divide in 3 cluster: 1x2.84 GHz Kryo 485 Platinum, 3x2.42 GHz Kryo 485 gold e 4 core a 1.82GHz Kryo 485 Silver, Per una GPU parliamo dell'offerta di AMD allo snapdragon la Adreno 640. E per comparabilità diciamo che il chip ha 4 GB di RAM.

Nell'angolo rosso: Il SoC A12 di Apple, è un Hexa core Dual cluster con 2x2.49 GHz Vortex, e 4x1.59 GHz Tempest cores, Per una GPU stiamo parlando del G12MP4 di Apple, i 4 core GPU personalizzati per l'A12. E questo tizio aveva anche 4GB di RAM~

Nell'angolo giallo il Midrange i5-8250u a bassa potenza di Intel usa una configurazione quad core a 8 thread. E tipicamente si precipita a 1,6 GHz, ma può arrivare fino a un enorme 3,4 GHz, rendendolo il più performante del gruppo. For GPU we’re talking Iris 620 and RAM is 4 GB Just for the comparation.

Intel i5–8250u:

Single core: 3,651 points

Multi core: 11,169 points

Interestingly, Apple’s Vortex core scored 33% higher in a single core, while both the i5–8250u and SD855 offer negligible difference if anything… but as soon as all 8 cores of the Snapdragon 855 entered action. It pushed both apple and Intel a rank down! Amazing!

Let’s take a look at the GPUs. Since Apple’s Metal benchmark cannot be run on Snapdragon or intel. Their score is halved.

Geekbench compute score:

Apple G12MP4: 21,221 (x0.5 as penality: 10,511)

Adreno640: 12,191 points

Iris 620: 11,500 points

Qualcomm’s GPU is the strongest. Followed up by intel then Apple.
