What is the best way to lay out a desk for a programmer?

Ok, lets first make a list of things that programmers would normally have around them.

• Of course at least one computer.
• One or more displays ( 3 seems to be a popular number ).
• A keyboard and a mouse.
• Other hardware they are working with ( if at all they are ).
• A set of speakers and/or headphones.
• A few books they are currently referring to or read to take breaks from programming.
• A bunch of papers used to scribble on or write detailed plan of their projects.
• A white board to scribble on and plan things.
• A reading lamp.
• Other stationary.

This is the list of things I have on my table.

This is simple. You obviously place your display centered at where you sit at the table.

Più spazio hai meglio è. Devi avere spazio per libri e fogli su cui scrivere.
