How to setup a VPN on my PC and Android

Two Different VPN Setups are available on Android as a PPTP VPN and LT2P VPN. Both carry different setup instructions. Let’s check them one by one.

Here are the steps to Setup LT2P VPN on Android

• From your Android Device, click on the Setting icon
• Now click on “Wireless & Networks”
• Click on VPN

Note: The steps to reach to VPN may Vary depends on the Device type, I have illustrated common steps.

• Click on the + button to add the VPN
• Type, select LT2P/IPSec PSK (Layer Two Tunneling Protocol)
• Now, Add the Server Address provided by your VPN Service (add the address without http://, https:// www)
• Keep L2TP Secret and IPSec Identifier empty
• Add the IPSec pre-shared key provided by the VPN Service
• Now, tick “Show Advanced Options”
• Add the DNS address in DNS Servers box
• Click on Save button

• La nuova connessione VPN è ora attiva
• Clicca su quella connessione VPN, aggiungi Username e Password.
• Finalmente, sei connesso al tuo servizio VPN, e ora puoi accedere ai contenuti che desideravi.

Impostare PPTP VPN su Android

• Dal tuo dispositivo Android, clicca sull'icona Impostazioni
• Ora clicca su "Wireless & Networks"
• Clicca su VPN

Nota: I passi per raggiungere la VPN possono variare a seconda del tipo di dispositivo, ho illustrato i passi comuni.

• Clicca sul pulsante + per aggiungere la VPN
• Aggiungi il nome della VPN (diciamo VPN Connection)
• Type, seleziona PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol)
• Nell'indirizzo del server VPN, devi aggiungere l'indirizzo del server VPN fornito dal tuo servizio VPN (aggiungi l'indirizzo senza http://, https:// www)
• Dopo aver aggiunto l'indirizzo del server, clicca sul pulsante Salva.

• A new VPN connection is active now
• Click on the VPN connection, add the username as password provided by your VPN Service.
• Finally, you are connected to your VPN service, and you can now access the content which you were wishing.
