Should I get the Galaxy S8 or the Galaxy S7 Edge?

If money is not an issue go for the S8 hands down. These are the upgrades over the S7 edge

• Better and more efficient CPU
• Larger screen with minimum bezels
• HDR enabled
• USB C-type
• 8 MP AF front camera
• Gorilla Glass 5
• Iris Scanner
• New Gear VR support
• Active Fingerpint scanner (always running)
• 64GB base variant

On the other hand if you get the S7 edge here are some of the advantages

• Slightly better battery life (1 hour extra)
• Camera hardware is same (huge software improvements though)
• Physical home button (if you are old school)
• Android Nougat update has made the S7 edge and the S8 same in the interface
• No Bixby (yes it's an advantage)
• Cheaper price tag
• 128GB model available in international market
• Front mounted fingerprint scanner
• Still a good buy in 2017. Vi durerà sicuramente almeno 3 anni senza alcun problema

Per quanto riguarda il Bluetooth 5.0 c'è un enorme difetto con l'S8 poiché Android attualmente non supporta il Bluetooth 5.0. Verrà rilasciato con Android O che raggiungerà l'S8 a metà 2018. Quindi fino ad allora funziona come un dispositivo Bluetooth 4.2.
