Quale dei due è corretto 'la classe inizierà' o 'la classe sarà iniziata'?

Il verbo iniziare non è di solito qualcosa che si fa a qualcos'altro, anche se può essere usato in questo modo.

Ecco degli esempi che sono più simili al primo che citi: The class will start (che onestamente mi suona più naturale)

• Il programma inizia alle 10:00.
• Il fuoco inizia a bruciare più intensamente.
• Il vento inizia a soffiare.
• Le onde iniziano a diventare più feroci.
• La macchina ha iniziato a surriscaldarsi.
• I lavoratori alla fine inizieranno a stancarsi.
• Inizierò a frequentare il corso lunedì prossimo.

Tuttavia iniziare può essere in alcuni casi qualcosa che viene fatto da qualcuno o qualcosa a qualcun altro

• Ho avviato il computer.
• He starts the car early every morning to melt the ice.
• She will start the class at 17:00.

It would however be strange to try and say this in the passive form using the thing being affected as the subject as you do in your second version “class will be started”

• I would tremble in disgust if someone were to say:
• The computer was started.
• The car is started early every morning to melt the ice.
• The class will be started at 17:00.

Such phrasing is not by any means wrong, but it sounds just awful.
