What is poison weakness in Pokemon?

In the video game series, Poison Types are weak to Psychic and Ground type moves. For example:

Hypno used Confusion on the opposing Arbok!

It’s Super Effective!

Poison type moves do less damage against certain types. Rock, Ground, Poison, and Ghost.

Arbok used Poison Fang on the opposing Lycanroc(Midnight Form)!

It’s Not Very Effective…

There is one type that is immune to Poison Type moves (for the most part).

The opposing Salazzle used Venoshock on Metagross!

It doesn’t affect Metagross.

Steel Types (and Poison Types) are also immune to the Poisoned and Badly Poisoned Status conditions, UNLESS the opponent has a certain Ability.

Scenario 1a:

Umbreon used Toxic on the opposing Steelix!

It doesn’t affect the opposing Steelix…

Scenario 1b:

Salazzle used Toxic on the opposing Steelix!

The opposing Steelix was Badly Poisoned! (A causa dell'abilità Corrosione di Salazzles)

Scenario 2a:

L'allenatore avversario ha ritirato Florges, e ha mandato fuori Arceus (Piastra Tossica)!

Weezing ha usato Toxic sull'Arceus avversario!

Non ha effetto sull'Arceus avversario...

Scenario 2b:

L'allenatore avversario ha ritirato Florges, e ha mandato fuori Areceus (Toxic Plate)!

Salazzle ha usato Toxic sull'Arceus avversario!

L'Arceus avversario è stato avvelenato malamente!

Nel TCG, Poison (di solito indicato come Psychic, ma contiene anche Ghost) è solitamente debole al suo stesso tipo. Alcuni sono deboli con Dark, o anche Electric. A volte il Pokemon da combattimento avversario (Roccia, o anche Terra) è debole a Veleno. Ci sono anche alcuni tipi di erba deboli al veleno. I tipi Fata sono deboli al Veleno o all'Acciaio. Acciaio spesso resiste a Veleno.
